Default my car dyno'd at carlisle

So I was at the Carlisle car show and while I was there I had my car dyno'd so I have the Joe z exhaust and intake and toms throttle controller so with the dyno corrected to smoothing at 5 and SAE and it made 350whp and 340wtq....does this seem low.....I will post the video later and try to post my dyno sheet....TIA.....PS. all pulls were done in 6th gear....is this right or is this low?????

Kyle

What were the test conditions like? Weather, type of fuel, etc? Also did you have Sport Mode on and was the VSC turned off?

SAE correction usually corrects for weather conditions and such. Forced Inductions motors are a different story.

My guess is that each car reacts to mods differently, and some cars are running much richer or leaner than others. The main issue is that we cannot tune these cars to compensate for air fuel, timing fuel trims, etc...

Wow, so yes, those numbers appear low. Did you get an AFR reading?

Because the F has 8 gears, and 6th is the best 1 to 1 ratio.

Yeah, those numbers seem low for your mods. Was it a dynojet?

With out a Base number for comparison.. we really can't compare much..

Here is some food for thought.

During testing the Dynojet we were using measured out a 333 rwhp for our base IS-F..

With the exhaust the same dyno measured 355 rwhp on the same IS-F

Most of the members on here are putting down 350-355 for base dyno pulls and approx 370-375 with exhaust & intake installed.

Of course on Dynojets..

Was the Traction Control & VSC fully turned OFF??

Regards,

Joe Z

is it best to do the 3 second button hold or the pedal dance to turn everything off for a dyno?

The 3 second hold version would work just fine.
