2010 Route 66 Fun Run
This year was the first time I participated, and I would recommend it for all who enjoy great cars, good friends and a whole lot of fun. I joined the Victor Valley Vette’s with my F and tailgated out to Seligman Arizona on Friday, then on to Kingman on Saturday, Oatman, and Topoc on Sunday. The registration fills up fast because people show up from all over, I had the pleasure to meet people from St. Louis, Kansas City, New York, Atlanta, Alaska, and of all places the Netherlands. The people from the Netherlands rented motorcycles, and said they were just a fraction of the Europeans that were there. I found it interesting that it was not just Americans who knew about the history of route 66.

Westside Lilo’s Café, for a great breakfast, and how can anyone pass on eating at the RoadKill Bar and Grill for lunch or dinner

Kingman:
Dambar & Steakhouse for us carnivores, they have excellent steaks and beef choices on the menu. As a side note this restaurant is dedicated to Kingman’s favorite son Andy Devine who was born and raised there. It helps to have been around as long as I have to know who he was, but I remember him as a character actor in many 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s westerns.

Very much so, they loved the F. I had my wife along so I could not go out and play with them, and in one case I was glad I couldn't. Three of them were cited for 104, in a 65 on Route 66, 30 seconds earlier it would have been much higher. I wonder what that will cost in Arizona? Anyway the officer told them they must appear, so looks like they will be making a return visit soon.
