Default JL CleanSweep Install - Now with Pics!

Alright,

So I finally got my sub installed.

I did a T13W5 setup connected to a JL CleanSweep with 500/1v2 Amp.

I'm going to post pictures soon, but does anyone know where I can download the JL Calibration Disc?

The person I bought the Cleansweep from didn't have it...

Thanks In Advance!!

the cleansweep calibration is only a single mp3 track.

I was able to find it by googling cleansweep calibration cd. BTW....excellent choice on the clean sweep. Now your bass will be musical again and not just low frequency thumps.

Wow I would love to hear your opinion on this setup....the Cleansweep is good stuff. I was looking at the Audison Bit1 but heard it induces some engine noise.

I am 95% happy with the ML but a part of my audiophile side keeps saying I need more bass....for now I'm going to stay stock and do my modding on my s2000.

We're building a dual JL 8w3 setup in a canon shape or maybe a triple JL 6w3 setup similiar in shape to a tank gun for the s2000 trunk! hehe

So I ran into an issue with the Sub hitting too hard.--- ALL DONE BEFORE Calibration Disc on Clean Sweep----

We had it wired directly with the OEM Sub in the rear deck then realized the DSP was causing problems

So we then wired the OEM SUB and one of the front speakers together to prevent this. Doing so we matched the wattage of both coming out.

Was this the best way to wire the speaker? I got this from an existing thread on Club Lexus: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/2751074-post9.html

Its still hitting a bit off...

Should rewiring it to the main sub and running the cleansweep calibration fix this?

Hmm,. if the sub lags which that setup has adequate power a solution may be..
-One make sure you are using proper input output as well as lower crossover ratio, and sub freq. is not up to high past 60-80Hz.
-Also note that there are seperate outputs on factory amp for each voice coil on factory subs for "full" freq. range (L/R) wont make difference but will affect input voltage and distortion.
-I have done a LS460 and 4 Is250 and 350 stereo install from double din, focal F/R 165K2p, subs, etc, Fly audio factory install which my good friend does alot of programming for unit.
-Try to go with an AUDIOCONTROL crossover will help alot in converting and helping response of the sub if lags or noisy..is box ported to cab??

Sealed box...

Everyone was saying all I needed was the Sub, Amp and CleanSweep.

I haven't ran the calibration CD yet, but when I do should I reconnect the Sub back to where the Factory Sub was?

Or leave it the way it is.

Did you ever get your system sorted out to your liking? Did you try using the CL-SSI module with the CleanSweep?
