Yes but remember the stock rotors are Brembo. I'm jealous on all of you that have not changed your brakes yet!

I concur with the OP, I had to change my front brake pads and rotors at 10k miles. This is with no track days what so ever. I'm thinking you guys DO drive like real grandmas or my dealer really screwed me over. Also my front tires were changed at 10k also, so I don't know what is the deal, honestly. OK, back on topic, that red look hot my man ...really goes well with the starfire pearl. None the less, this car is a blast to drive and it can keep up with 99% of the cars on the road.

Darwin from www.sonicms.net in Mountain View, CA did all the work for me. Give him a call. Always done right and quick. I dropped off my car on Tuesday AM.

1st set - replace at 14K miles
2nd set - done at 30K miles
3rd set - who knows..... maybe 40K/45K miles???

I think we are on track, because the parts manager at Stevens Creek Lexus said they only have a lifespan of 15K miles.
I think i've beaten the odds. for my nearly 14 month 2009 ISF...

27,500 miles, original pads/rotors. Still have another 10-15k left on the pads.

Same with the tires. OEM Michelin PS2's with 5/32 front and 4/32 in the rear.

Thanks for the Facebook picture, I love the red brakes on a white car! Personally I would have gone with orange or yellow but you already have orange on your "other" ride

Eventually I'm going to get mine coated in yellow when it starts to show some wear but worried how brake dust will show up much easier. The oem black color hides it well so I only have to wipe my yellow brembo logos right now...haha

On the brake pad issue, my car just hit 8000 miles and I noticed the other day a bit of sqeak on the brakes. I don't drive the car too aggressive and haven't done any road trips besides going to SF once in a while. Will have to check my pads on my next maintenance stop but I really want some dustless pads This brake dust is the WORST out of all my cars, my m3 has virtually no dust compared to the IS-F and the NSX sheds no dust even after a week's worth of driving....very cool!

You'll be waiting a long time for the OEM calipers to look bad. Even after a track weekend where I overheated a set of full race pads, the shine on the calipers didn't dim at all. They're incredibly heat resistant from the factory. I seriously doubt the shine will fade even after 10 years of street duty.

as long as you put a good layer of clear coat on the caliper (after the base coat), they will stay very clean for a long time.

It has a clearcoat over it, same procedure as what was done on my NSX. Yeah I'm fearing the famous "brake dust"
