Default Who is actually running the Prestigious Society Navigation Overide in their F?

Like the title says. Who's got this and what do you think? Is there anywhere to get it cheaper than their website? Seems expensive for a cut off ($350). Any other alternatives (other than cutting).

Thanks.

I run it and it works as advertised. I didn't want to experiment with cutting and splicing eventhough there is a DIY. To me its worth the investment knowing I can remove it in 15 min and everything is back to stock.

I have it, and could not live without it. Being able to change tracks on my ipod, or enter a new address in the navigation is priceless.

I also bought from the guy on ebay for $275.

I've had it in my 09 ISF. It was transplanted from my 07 GS350. My good friend Rominl did my install.

I highly recommend getting the unit through Prestigious Society. I wouldn't trust any random ebay retailer for this product.

Did any of you create an installation manual? I'm just curious as to what's required to install this (I'm all thumbs). Seeing as it took all of an hour or so I'm assuming it requires pulling out the navigation system. Also, do you think the dealer would install it for me?

It comes with an installation manual (don't know about the knock-offs though), and the 2 part switch allows you to activate the NAV/Phone/Ipod features (all those that are typically locked out while driving) while pressed or activate the DVD feature while driving.

No special tools are required other than a small screwdriver when removing the air duct above the NAV. This rest is your time a patience.

I can install this for you and these kits are all the same regardless who you get them from. There is one MFG of this product. Most of the members I have installed these for just got them off eBay and saved some money.

no, the car thinks it's in park if the nav switch is activated... so the map does not move....

the dvd switch is a different mode... for dvd obviously...

Yeah, I think it's a bit dishonest to imply that they are the exclusive distributor/manufacturer of the kit and then overcharge on it.
