Thanks.
Does anyone have a picture of the unit (before being installed)? $350 seems outrageously expensive but if it's full of electronics or firmware then that might be justified.

There are pics on line and they are all the same, google - nav override for ISF or something similar and you'll find some.

I agree

Here is the same system...this is a random seller I found on eBay but the pics will show you what it looks like. I am sure there are threads in the 2gen ISx50 section and even the 3gen GS section that show install pics and the unit itself.

Most of the locals have found it for under $200 but its been a while since I helped someone with the install.

The link below is from the Joe Z install on a ISx50. It also confirms that the part listed on eBay and the one that Prestigious Society sells is one and the same. For $270 shipped you can order from eBay and save yourself $80.

This is a purchase that only you can justify if the cost are worth it. If you want it and don't want to cut up your car, this is the only way to do so.

^^I agree..

I removed that unit from my IS350 and installed in it my IS-F..

Still works perfectly..

The only comment I will make is that the PS vendor (CL vendor at the time of my thread) had and still has excellent customer service.
Also, I believe at the time was or maybe still is the only "Authorized" importer of the unit.

PS also includes a Full 1 yr warranty on the units they sell..
(not sure about the ebay sellers warranties)

Sorry for bumping an ancient thread, but is anyone using these in a 2010+ model IS F?

I got an email from them stating there's no switch needed now and one can just hit --++ on the steering wheel to enable/disable. I was sort of hoping for separate switches as I might want the DVD override triggered on a long trip but NOT have the NAV disabled.

I'll let you know what I find out.

No. The nav in my Galaxy S5 and my Lumia 1020 is so much better than the Lexus nav, I never use the Lexus nav anymore.

I had the PS system in my LS460 and it worked flawless. Should be the same for the ISF. I know the guy who engineers them and he is SMART !!!

I've got one on my 2010. minor quirks, but works fine for what I need it for.

(I didn't know about the --++ trick, but I'll try that on my drive home. /OT)
