Default Installed some new 2x brighter V-LEDS DRL LED and Parking Lights

I was one of the first few to try out the new V-LEDS upgraded DRL LEDs for the IS'es and eventually burned out my highbeam bulbs after installing. For 2 months I've been trying to figure out the problem, still nothing.

Brought it to the dealership and they quoted me $450 to fix it, brought it to my buddy's workshop and he fixed it for me for less than $80.

Throughout the entire process, Jake from V-LEDS has been very very very friendly, patient and professional about the problem. He guided me in every single step, gave me all sorts of solutions and he has been replying my emails and phone calls in a timely manner. He even offered to split the repair bill. I can't thank Jake and the V-LEDS team enough! Awesome customer service!

Here are some pictures. It's looks better in person!

They released an upgraded DRL LED, at first it came without the harness. It was just plug n play with the module, that eventually blew out fuses. They then fixed it and now includes a harness/wiring to make everything safer.

wow looks sweet!

is this the one?

http://www.v-leds.com/Exterior-LED/D...52845-1-2.html

And if so, is the link the 'upgraded' DRL LEDs already? Or do i need to get a pair of the DRL module and a pair of HID relay harness in order for them to work properly? I'm just a little confused about what additional stuffs i need to get to make them work.

btw, which vled parking lights did you use? thanks!

Hey, I just purchased the newer version of the LEDs too, and have no clue what to do with the relays. I thought they would be easy plug and play. Do you have any advice on how to make this work?

Sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but I finally got mine working and I wanted to let everyone know they look GREAT! James was a huge help from VLED's and I recommend their service to anyone.

edit: just realized how these pictures don't do nearly the justice this lighting deserves. I'll be taking better pics in the evening.
