Those are some “HOT” metal disc testing pics you posted.!!
If a metal disc rotor and pad where put through that kind of abuse repeatedly (in Real World conditions), the short & long term
negative effects would be obvious. Especially, thermal integrity.
The characteristics of CCM rotors are unrivaled.
They will heat up and cool off rapidly like no other metal disc rotor.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the LFA “Bladed Inward” Wheel design, actually pulls AIR into the wheel and braking system to assist in cooling things off in extreme real world conditions..
I am happy to see the LFA use the CCM Brake Design.
It deserves no less..
