Plus trying to stop a 3500+lb Lexus is a much different story than stopping a dinky Civic.
as for the hp+ stopping a 3500 lbs car.. I got mine on today and I locked it up easy too.. The bite is INSANE. The noise isnt bad. All I hear is like a slight grinding noise not the usual squeal. They are great almost too great (scary) but it just a matter of getting used to them.

Yuppers, Hp+ takes some time getting use to. Its an insane initial bite. My DINKY 12sec civic stopped on a dime with them. they do get pretty noisy though, especially when they get hot.

I had them installed about 2 months ago and they are great. I think they dust less than stock, no squeal yet, and they stop the car perhaps better than the stock brembos.

FYI for those who said its hard to stop a 3500+ car.. I locked mine up at 127 on the straightaway at willow. AND THATS ON R-COMPS.. so they will stop our CARS... my issue is why the abs is not catching that..???

Because that's your job as the driver. Judge traction, drive accordingly. You should race motorcycles, you'd learn a lot about braking effectively (or die trying!)

Its been sometime since this post has been updated. Has anybody had any problems with the Ferodos since then? I believe those are my first choice for my next set of front breaks...

^^^^NADA - I can safely promise you, that there never will be another brand of brake pad on my car - EVER. As long as they're available for the vehicle I am driving, DS2500 Pads will be pad of choice for me.

^^^^I wish I could, but at this time, Ferodo doesn't make a compatible sized pad for the ISF. I'm using my DS2500 fronts with stock Brembo ISF rears with no ill effects.

If you want recommendations on rear pads to complement the Ferodo Front DS2500, contact these guys:

http://speed-freaks.net/ag-177932.23...exus-is-f.html

And, though it's not listed on the linked page, Speed-Freaks also carries Ferodo.
