Question JDM or European HP ratings?

What is the differences in HP/TQ on the JDM and European is-f's. I know the JDM has a more aggressive tune however i have found that its also speed limited to 110mph. Icode and Blitz have speed govern eliminators. Looking for some info as I think i feel an experiment coming up

Lexus japan quotes the JDM IS-F as making 311kW which converts to 416.89HP.

I am not seeing more power from their tuning.

It's my guess that the ECU's are tuned the same..

All that changes is the language in the Tuning and probably lots of other stuff that communicates with the rest of the IS-F, built for its particular market..

Have you seen this HKS product for a JDM Spec IS-F??

There has been NO confirmation if this product will work on a US Spec IS-F...

Time for one of you guys to research this some more..

Try this. It is not exact, but you can get the basic idea about the parts listed.

Looks like the tuned ECU is $3,325.24
