They had the part I needed so I dropped the car off today, got a SFP IS 250 loaner. Picked it up just now and it seems to work well. It said "C" on the compass for a few minutes, about 10 minutes or so, then said "SW." I think it was calibrating or something.

I attached a picture of it.

People still use Broadway mirrors? LOL. OEM Auto Dimming > Broadway mirror.

I ask to my dealer and he don't know this TBS or LSB.
Maybe it's not here in Canada?

actually what a coincidence, I just got off the phone to book my 8000km oil change with a local dealer here in BC and they say they don't have a service notice or TSB about the mirror... But someone here did say it includes Canada as well... anybody know the Cdn numbers?

Thanks in advance.

Very ODD - I took this TSB into Magnusson Lexus in Fremont after they ordered parts....

I was expecting to pick up the car with the IS-C mirror like everyone has posted her but I still have my stock mirror. They said they replaced some parts but I swear the mirror looks the same and still vibrates???

Anyone else here who did the mirror and it's only reinforcement parts?

I can scan my invoice if it would help?

Lexus of Fremont changed my mirror to the new one. I'm waiting on them to also replace my whole console since the radio tune button got pushed in. They said it was a common problem.

The homelink buttons on the new mirrors aren't as intuitive or easy to press without looking like the old mirror. With the old on I could feel for it since it was rubbery and obvious to find and press without even looking.

Would be nice if all buttons on the mirror are illuminated

+1. However, the mirror itself is larger, and seems better made to me. It's a good trade off.

Illumination of the buttons might help a little, but with the old mirror you could push the buttons by feel.

Did anyone look at the crazy part's prices for the mirror? The cost back to Lexus for this warranty repair was abut $1k.

I test drove two cars today with the lady, a Hyundai Santa Fe and Subaru Outback. Both had the exact same mirror that awaits me this Friday. Almost as common as the fuel in our tanks.
