How is that all of you guys have success with replacing the new mirror without problem and I have to go through so much crap with Sterling McCall Lexus!?!?!
I called them up asking for a replacement and as usual a whole bunch of BS. They claimed they replaced a new rear view mirror and inserted some kind of magnetic ball inside to balance everything which I think it's total BS. The rear view mirror looks the same. And of course, it still vibrates. I called them up again, emailed the technician with all the TSB number, this forum's link and pictures and all they said was we replaced the same exact parts you stated, which is another total BS. Here's the reply I just sent to the technician:
Hi,
If it was the same, then how would my current rear view mirror look the same from this:

Here's a picture I took of my current rear view mirror:

Do you see how the old rear view mirror buttons are all at the bottom and the new ones are all up front?
I really do wish you guys can co-operate with me. This is not a $20,000 dollar car we're talking about here, it's a $65,000 car. I've paid so much money on a vehicle like this and the most common used function of the car has problems. Not to mention, I'm a car enthusiast, not your average customer. I chose this car over every other competitors such as the BMW M3 and the Mercedes Benz C63 AMG because I know the quality and performance of a Lexus.
Also, the previous technician/installer told me you guys put some kind of magnetic ball inside the mirror to balance everything and to prevent it from shaking which is, in my opinion a big lie.
I'd appreciate it if you give me a call or reply my email in a timely manner because driving the vehicle with a vibrating mirror rear view is not very safe. I can't even see if a cop is 500 ft behind me.
Thank you,
Anson
