Most performance mods need a watch and timed course to demonstrate actual improvement. Few deliver the advertised claims. Many are actually worse than stock. The best performance mods are made to the driver.
Emotional arguments - They're not just for chicks anymore.
Looks to me like Lexus is buying mirrors from Gentex, and marking them up like nobody's business. Wait a second - does the new mirror lose the compass? Like this:
This one is even cheaper - $85 on eBay. Wow. I guess I can easily afford one of these for my Supra...

yeah...the one for the xB is auto-diming only...no homelink included...I got my gentex through eBay for about $125.45 shipped new. So it wasn't too bad...here is a picture of it.
and a picture of my box...lol

I'd call the dealer's parts dept for part availability before taking it in. Provide service writer the TSB # and have him look it up when you check in.

I got mine replaced today.
First day of driving there was huge improvement on vibration with normal road driving with music off. but If you set the volume of the music around 30 with mild to heavy bass music it was about the same.
Also for me to get mine replaced, i had to goto dealer twice because they didnt want to order the part until it meets the requirements to get it replaced. so day1 check up and day 2 install both process took about 2hrs at the dealer.
The postion of the buttons were kinda weird but they dont look that much different when they were installed on the car.
Dealer Experience was outstanding. i enjoyed their free drinks and donuts
K so I got off the phone with the dealer to schedule my service, and mentioned that I wanted to get this TSB done at the same time. They said that they can't order parts until they have the car at the dealer, even for TSBs, so I'd have to go in twice. That's kinda lame. Is that true?
B.S. Sorry to hear that. I e-mailed my service advisor at Lexus of Seattle yesterday afternoon at 3:34 pm about it quoting the numbers in the forum. He responded via e-mail at 4:28 pm indicating he had order the parts and would let me know when they come in. May be this is the exception?
