Is anyone selling a LSD for the IS-F? If so or if not what would the real gains be for the car? thanks!

The gains would be the same as adding a LSD to any other car or less since the IS-F already uses an electronic LSD. Unless you are tracking the car or doing autocross and want to shave seconds off of your lap time, do not even bother.

agree, unless you push your car to the limit on track, or you always want to see two-wheels burnout, lsd won't give you much gain on normal driving

Lexus will have one on the 2010 model. I plan to retrofit one to my F.

So, just for giggles I decided to find out if it is possible to do a direct swap with a MkIV Supra 6 speed diff and the IS-F. Sadly the Supra diff (with the Torsen unit) is about 25mm longer than the unit in the F. This might be why Supra owners going from auto to 6 speed needed the diff and driveshaft to make the conversion truly complete. The autos came with an open diff, the 6 speeds came with the Torsen LSD.

So, unless there is some internal magic, we'll still have to wait for the 2010 units to show up. It would really get expensive if it's a diff, driveshaft, and skid control ECU swap. Those three pieces will be pretty pricey.
