IS C can come in Ultra Sonic Blue
I just noticed on Lexus.com the new 2010 IS C can be painted in the Ultrasonic Blue. Is no color special for the F model? I for one don't like how other models can share the entire color pallet of the F.
Am I the only one?

Sorta old news....
Looks pretty cool in my opinion..
Now there are two "Special' models in this color..
IS-F & IS-C
Makes perfect sense from a Marketing stand point..
But here is an IS-C in the very HOT USBM!!!!
This unit was part of the Southern California official press release approx. one month ago....
Available to test drive was the Black, Silver, Matador Red & Blue, on the day I went..

I respectfully disagree. I don't think anyone would dispute that it's a good "business" move for Lexus to offer the IS-C in ultrasonic blue - that's nothing more than cost sharing across models (just like using the bumper reflectors from the RX on the IS-F's rear bumper - raiding the parts bin FTW!). As an enthusiast however, I'd like to see some aspects remain unique and "special" to a model that's marketed as such.
On the street, the ultrasonic blue paint is one of the things that makes it immediately identifiable as an IS-F, and distinguishes it from other IS's on the road. To me personally, it just serves to add some caché to the nameplate to have colors exclusively available on the IS-F.

But that's why we're "stealth"....our cars look just like any other IS.
Sorry Joe, I also agree that USB should have been an F only color.
Guess Cathafer is going to have to paint her car a different color so D2 can build some cool new shoes.

Yea I was dissapointed when I noticed it. Only good thing is that it should be a relatively low build.
For now, in the Eastern Area...IS250C in USB will have a 5% build(the lowest of all the colors).
The IS350C in USB will have a 13% build(3rd lowest with MRM at 6% and CBM at 0%=special order)
..since you will have 70% of the production in IS250C's and only 29% IS350C's, then only 13% of those being USB... you get my point I had to take statistics twice..
