Talking DPE Wheels + IS-F = :)

If you've never heard about Dynamic Performance Engineering (DPE), here's a brief introduction:

Dynamic Performance Engineering's (DPE) custom forged wheel line utilizes the highest quality forged T6 - 6061 aircraft aluminum components in the manufacturing process to ensure each wheel is lightweight while maintaining stringent structural integrity specifications. R&D followed by Computer Aided Design (CAD) is used to create digital models in order to build prototypes, which are then rigorously tested at independent labs to exceed the standards set by the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Signature Series 3-Piece Wheel

R Series 2-Piece Wheel

GT/LS Series 2-Piece Wheel

Currently only 2 sets of DPE wheels have been built for the IS-Fs, but they haven't taken pictures.

What do you guys think?

To be honest.

I have heard of DPE , and heard they are quality rims (also expensive)

But the wheel market is so inundated right now, that all the wheels tend to look the same, and most people end up going back to foundational manufactures, i.e., volk, work, hre, and bbs, etc.

Just my thougths.

Personally, if they were giving me rims, id pick the GT/LS Gt7... you want to sponsor me? lol!

I hear ya. Personally, Volk/Work aren't even at the same level as DPE. It's the ones that want HRE/BBS that look at DPE.

Sorry no can do but if you PM me a realistic budget I might be able to help you out.

Please tell us what you mean by light. Light means a lot of different things until you actually quantify it. Are we talking sub 20 lbs for 19" wheels?

Why would you say that? Volk and Work are pointing at a different segment, they don't go after look, they go after performance. Do you have any 20x10 wheel that weights 20lbs or so?

Personally I wouldn't replace the stock BBS wheels with anything heavier, even if it has a killer look.

What I meant was they target a different crowd. Most Volk/Work either (1) love the DPEs but cant afford them or (2) don't like the look at all.

Mine are 20x9/11, but can be made in 19s and any widths. The style is ST7 but can be any signature series wheel.
