Love my F. But its too slow. Thats why im in the market for a Zo6 lol
I totally hear what you're saying. I find myself feeling a bit unsatisfied sometimes. If I can get my hands on a GTR I may have to get one of those too lol.
The Vette is faster hands down, with the LS3 436HP @ 3200LB. I had a 07 that had the LS2 400HP, 400TQ, but those cars are very mod friendly. So after LT headers, hi flow cats and exhaust, CAI, and a conservative tune it was making 387 RWHP, and again at 500LB less than the F it was plenty fast. It just was not a practical DD for a HS teacher, attracted too much attention. So for now the F will do just fine, it is more comfortable, and blends in a much better. After owning the 350, and now the F, I am not sure if I will ever go back to the Vettes. It really is hard to beat the comfort and ease driving that a Lexus offers.

I have owned a 2006 C6, a 2007 911, a 2008 650I, and now a 2008 IS-F and with the exception of the 911 the IS-F is my favorite. The C6 doesn't even compare. It is fast but it is built like crap and drives that way too. The transmission (auto) was terrible.
the C6 has numb steering. Its insanely fast , but I will never buy so I would stick with the Lexus. 4 doors and better reliability, and service goes a long way. I dont want to be waiting in the service area next to the 17 year old girl with the cobalt. NO THANKS

what wrong 17 year old girl with the cobalt? i would take her out for a ride and diz the cobalt
If I had the time/money for a second car, I would definitely look at the C6 Z06. The reg C6 is way too overplayed by everyone from 17 year olds to retired folk. I probably see 15-20 on a nice summer day.
I think the Z06 however, even though it is an American car, is the best bang for your buck. I'm not really irritated about the interior. It is what it is. The engine iswhat attracts me.
But since I use my ISF as a daily driver in all 4 seasons, that is something no vette can achieve. Atleast not in Chicago.
C6<Z06<ISF as DD
C6<ISF<Z06 for raw power

I've owned three Vettes: 1968 427c.i.d. 425hp tripower, a 1999 C6 coupe and a 2002 C6 Z-06. The Z-06 was, hands down the fastest of the three and much faster in seat-of-the-pants feel than the IS-F. The '68 427 was the beast of the group and much easier to get into situations where you were in over your head. The IS-F is beginning to feel "lacking" in the performance area for me.

Minor correction, the 99, and 02 were C5's, the C6 was introduced in 05. The 02 C5 Z06 was 405HP, while the C6 is a total beast at 505HP.

i am feeling the same thing although i drove the 405hp z06 u had and thought it was lacking power too! i am now looking at maybe doing the gtr thing or maybe doing a turbo porsche. unless i do a evo and really rebuild it! i do need more power!

No need for a Vspec when you can upgrade a regular GTR for way less and get much more performance. Plus most likely they wont come to the U.S. Just a stage 1 ECU upgrade from Cobb puts the Vspec to shame.
Cant go wrong with a GTR plus its easy to upgrade unlike the ISF. It makes the ISF feel very slow when I get a chance to drive it.( Damn shame a 400hp Lexus that does 0-60 in 4.5-4.8 sec feels slow)
