Thanks for sharing Flip. Do you or Crazy have any info on the brakes such as how they compare to the stock in terms of stopping power? I need new brakes now and am considering going a different route. Are they bigger than the stock brake setup as well?
And the WALD kit looks great. I really like how the blacked out headlight housing looks on MM F's. I'm feeling a DIY for this

new brakes? the OEM stoppers are more than capable, even with an increase in power......Mike, do you plan on tracking your car? Maybe new pads and fluid would do the trick...........that brembo kit has got to be 4+ grand!
thanks for sharing!
I have to agree though the blue IS-F is asthetically UGLY but yea it could be faster but who cares.....a Corvette is faster but you won't see my buying one anytime soon either.
The WALD kit just looks mean on the MM IS-F but I think I can live with just the rear diffuser at this point.

On the Blue IS-F, the lower lips are a Silver CF
On the Silver IS-F, the sections left un-painted are a Black/Grey CF
Both of these F's were NICELY done in their own special ways..

but the kits, umm..... when am i going to see your car in person. maybe it's the color theme, but somehow it still doesn't flow well to me

The Volks arent my favorite choice but not to bad either. Dont really get the point behind the body kits. In my opinion both cars would look much better with just rims and a drop.

Well picking wheels is like opinions, everyone has one
Frankly the RE030's from Volk are legendary in their super light weight but it's styling just doesn't work on an IS-F.
Actually NOT many aftermarket wheels work on an IS-F...the ONLY rim I've seen so far tha made me say wow are the 20" BBS LM's on that white IS-F which was posted here.
The blue car would look perfect if you got rid of the silver CF ~ just looks tacky on a luxo sedan. Save that stuff for the ricers. A lot of m3 owners try to do the two tone look with silver CF and most fail as well.
Blue IS-F plus yellow Brembo's would look clean if that's all you had.
Guess I'm just getting too old for some of this stuff. Props for being different I guess.

^Increased stiffness and thermal capacity, less rotational mass/unsprung weight. And before you ask, yes - he goes to the track.
They also look incredible.
I couldn't agree more - while I don't agree with your opinion I can certainly appreciate it.
I really like the contrast the silver CF creates on the exterior - especially since the IS-F has silver CF ALL OVER the interior. The IS-F is not really a luxo sedan like a GS, IMO - it's in the "performance variant" category with the C63, M3, RS4, etc... so I don't think the CF is out of place at all. Again, just my opinion.

So you're saying Lexus ordered from Brembo's bargain-basement line of calipers?
...which is negated IF the discs are indeed bigger...
Sorry, not trying to be a ****, just wanting to get a better grasp as to the reasoning, cus aren't these things like 4K's just for fronts? His money, anyway...
