Grab it from the side and give it a nice tug, it'll pop out. Then just plug it in and snap them on that's it. Make sure your DOOR switch is turned on, or else it won't turn on. If you don't know what the DOOR switch is, look at where you sunroof switch is there's 2 buttons.

They don't, but they can be wired in. The sill plate is the same, but there is no wiring like the ISX50s.

I did the install on CrazyMPG's IS-F. To make a long story short, I basically had to do some custom work to bring the lead that's on the driver side of the car over to the passenger side. There's a source on the passenger side, but when it's connected to the sill the polarity is reversed and would turn on when the door is closed and off when the door is opened. That's why I had to run them both off of the driver's side lead.

I have heard of polarity issues with these door sills. Mr. Johnson who owns an IS-F in the Chicago group brough this to my attention. I was always taken why the "F" did not come standard with this.

I was able to found a proper ground on both side (in the harness that run at the base of the door) and connect the other side to the door open/close switch in the B pillar. Works fine, light up individually when you open the door.
