Dissed at the stoplight
As most of you know, there are not alot of F's on the road. Imagine my surprise yesterday when I rolled up to the stoplight only to see a Blue F next to me. As I stopped, I looked left and gave the driver of the other car a thumbs up. What did I get back.....NOTHING......he looked at me and then away, not to look again. Maybe he was just embarrased because his car just got out of the mud bog. Oh Well, had to vent.
By the way, to the owner of that Blue F that was at the stoplight on Automall in Fremont, get a personality. You certainly drive a car that demands one.

i don't think he's trying to diss you..he's probably just uncomfortable or probably didn't see you were driving an F. Even today, I still get weirded out when someone compliments my car when I'm driving it lol guess I'm not that friendly either

It happens, perhaps he thought the "thumbs up" was a signal for a little run.
On the other hand,
I gave a thumbs up to a ricer and when my slow 1LS smoked him, he was pretty damn pissed.

He's probably unconfortable...Just like me. I'm not used to communicating when in a car. Friends will see me on the road and try to say/signal wassup but I don't pay attention to other drivers. I just see cars and not the drivers...He's probably just like me and needs a personality

He might not have even noticed you giving him the thumbs up. Is your F tinted? Was it during the day or at night?
I know I sometimes cannot see people give me a thumbs up if it's dark and their windows are tinted (I can't tell if their flipping me off or giving me a thumbs up so I just look ahead )

You know it is funny how many people will not even say hello to another on the road. I remember I sat at a light next to a good friend of mine and started beeping the horn and yeahing at him and he would not look over no matter what I did. I getting out of the car and knocking on his window. He finally looked and saw it was me. I think he was scared and thought someone was trying to kill him...lol

regardless of the reason why he didn't respond, he has not done anything inappropriate or unacceptable. i get enough people wanted to race me when i am in my S2000 or ISF, i just ignore all drivers' communications except when they need directions.

I think many have got it right...some people are just uncomfortable with looking at strangers in other cars. Sometimes eye contact may sollicit more than just a 'thumbs up'.
