My last run was about 360 rwhp with MHP V2 tune only. I installed Joe Z exhaust Friday night but will be out of town at a convention until Wednesday night. May get to redyno late next week. Hoping to see around 380 rwhp at that time.

During 6th gear dyno runs have seen smooth increase all the way to 170 mph where speed limiter kicks in. At 170 in 6th the rev limiter is about to kick in because I was at about 6700 rpm.

Tooth Doc,

Look at top of thread list. We started a thread for dyno runs and for drag times and the mods put it at the top. We need to start adding all past and future dyno runs there. Since I am a neophite, I will need help loading graphics of the dyno runs there.

WOW! Why is this really interesting to me? Because Passnu2 had his 3GS dyno'd there and got crazy low results as well and the car wouldn't hold gear no matter what was done. At this point I'm thinking there is something wrong with their dyno.

Maye the issue was not my car after all?? Since the car did better on the Dyno on snow mode and held gear better but the numbers where still off? Toothdoc I had the same crazy spikes at the end on mine also. I agree with Mr Johnson here that there must be something wrong with the Dyno there or they just dont know what to do with RWD since they specialize in AWD? Sorry that I sent you there. My results where like ~180hp or something low like that I am not in the ISF but I know I should be ~250 to the wheels +/-....

I believe Sound Performance has a Dyno also and maybe that is the better place to go since they specialize in the Toyota cars in general. I will dig through my emails also so you can see my results and we can compare if that helps out.

I also was on Snow tires (HP) on the OEM 18" rims so I dont think that is the issue here.

I figured it was the dyno. There used to be a Dynojet on Route 22 in Fox River Grove but his shop suddenly disappeared. I had dynoed 250ish with my IS350 there before. There is also a Dyno Dynamics on Route 60/83 in Mundelein but I don't like that dyno (reads much lower than dynojet). I just want to keep it Dynojet for comparisons (I know, I know, you can't compare different dynos, etc. etc.). BTW, Passnu2, no problem. It's not like you sent me there knowing their dyno was either off calibration or not setup correctly. At first, I thought maybe the e brake was on or something LOL.

^ LOL...I thought it was the fact that my car wouldn't hold gear since we tried everything we could think of. Let me know where you end up going as I want to try this yet again Maybe I can meet you up there and will drag Mr Johnson along also.

yes. and whatever premium is here. i think some places are 91 and others are 92. i have dynoed a number of my other vehicles at the same place and pretty much trust their numbers as they been inline with numbers i've put down in oregon and california with the same vehicles.

A rule should be that you only post SAE numbers...STD is an artificially inflated correction factor...hell, I think my 383 rwhp SAE was 390+ STD.
