Not trying to start a flamewar but anytime people ask what people do for a living you are going to get a lot of stories. Don't let that pick your career path just 'cause THEY make money doing it.

Keep up with the investments, trust me the car hobby fights very hard with the investment portfolio but at the end of the day you have to choose what's more important.

Very true. Ill be the first to say that i wouldn't be anywhere without my parents help in the areas of business. They have been my mentors and have helped me all my life. In fact, i am still learning.

The reason i started the thread was out of pure curiosity. I'm not going to change my career choice because i think another job makes more money. Remember, don't work for money have your money work for you"

Oh and my car hobby does kinda fight the business side of my life. Growing up my dad always would say " You can only own a limited amount of property that cost $100 dollars a month. But you can own an infinite amount that bring in $100". And it just so happens to be that my car is a few of those bad investments

Funny that my ISF purchase was actually my best 2008 performing investment... Can you find an investment (house, 401K, stocks, etc) that lost less than 20% last year?
