Curious who their target consumer is at that price?

It doesn't seem like any of the actual F owners are interested, myself included, so who would spend that kind of cash on a car they don't even own?

Probably collectors. Everyone has different hobbies, these seem like they would appeal to miniature car collectors. It says on the ebay link "special edition" (how true that is, I'm not sure) and that would have an impact on price as well

no no no mike! they are for people who rather spend 300 than 60k.

I got two models of the tC from Scion because we bought a pair of them and there was an SSC for the front air deflector (glass + rock = shatter & glass in the car; glass + rock + antishatter film = no glass inside the car). Scion sent them out as a good will gesture. It would be cool to have one of these as well, but I'm not feeling the $300. I'd be getting black pearl emblems or lighted door sills before I got the model.

It is limited edition and the seller is based out of Hong Kong so I don't think they're distributed in the US...who knows though

Hey guys, FYI, I just won the silver one by going back and forth with the seller via "submit offer". I started at $99 and ended up with a huge discount...

Excuse my ignorance, but how are these models different than the ones you typically see for $20-$30?
