I'm currently in Germany and on my home there is a large portion of the autobahn with no speed limit. I hit 120-140mph everyday going to and from. I passed a polizei a few weeks back going a 140mph. A few miles later he flew by me like I was standing still, lol. I was able to hit 155mph but there was traffic a head so I slowed it down.
The OP has in his post that he has the HKS speed limiter which removes the limiter and is good for I guess top speed on whatever gear and circumstance will let the car do?

There is, but I have no idea where to find it. It was posted on Cl back in 2008 if i remember correctly and was just a video of the dash while the run was made.

150mph GPS speed. Still pulling strong like it was only at 100-120. I have no doubt this car can go well beyond the 170 limiter. All pulls done on an empty air strip, of course.

All my searching revealed nothing near 200mph. Even with those utilizing the HKS speed limiter removal, they claimed 186ish.

Ive had mine to 151 mph. It was pulling like crazy. I would have maxed her but didnt want to pass any cars going that fast so I backed off.

The ISF isn't meant to be driven at > 140mph sustained. I think it's in the manual somewhere, no sustained driving over 142mph or drivetrain/diff will overheat or something like that.

Having said that, I've only done 160mph in the ISF and it was only for a quick burst...

^^I wonder what they mean by sustained? Could that be like 10-15min of sustained driving over 142mph to overheat the drivetrain/diff? I would imagine that anyone who has driven the car over 142mph it has been quick burst of that particular speed.

Maybe if you're rockin' it on the Autobahn while listening to Die Totenhosen or something...

A member on this forum says the F will sustain well over 145 mph and has tested this himself.

The New Car Features book says maximum cruising speed is 230 km/hr or 145 mph.

I have driven my car in the 120-140ish range occasionally hitting the 150's for 45-50 minutes and never had any cooling issue. Both the temp gauges were in the same range as normal driving, However, outside temp was in the 60's.

I've never sustained 120+ for more than a minute, but the car gets up to the governor quickly.
