161mph GPS, not speedo (not ever sure what the speedo said) ..."Disclaimer: Performed by a professional driver on a closed course" ...also 176mph GPS on my CBR...same disclaimer.

Seen speed limiter quite a few times and have pushed it hard enough on a track to loose it once pretty good. I feel I have tested the limits of my car

Same day it went 172, the rear got loose at around 150 on a bend. That is my limit and most likely the car.

I hit my limit driving it to work everyday. 80mph on cruise control.

It is very unlikely, though, that the car can hit 180 or higher without the limiter.
Do a little research and you will find the unlimited speed is around 186.

Car was still pulling strong when it hit 172. I believe it'd hit mid 180's no problem. Again, I was drafting so I'm sure that helped. But my GT-R seemed to run out of steam past 160. Maybe I was going uphill, but only ever took it to 163. And it was over 100 degrees out.

California interstate 5. I don't know how fast I was going. It was long and straight and empty and I was too busy watching the road as foreground became the background faster than my brain could process. I'll never do that again. It felt like I was playing with my life!

I've hit 145, but backed off b/c I already needed new tires and didn't want one to blow at 145. Plus the windows were down and the sunroof was open. I thought my ears were going to explode. I imagine I'll try it again sometime. There are several stretches of straight toll road in my area that I could test it.

I've only taken the wife to 125 b/c she said "okay, that's enough". We were just getting going.

Took my mom (unknowingly and who is also a sissy about speed) to about 115, and calmly asked, "mom, how fast do you think we're going right now?" She looked up from her book and was like "I don't know, 80? 85?" I told her to look over at the speedometer. She about crapped her pants! Then she calmed down and said, "huh...it's REALLY smooth at that speed." I told her she should try 145.

Yep, skydiving is one of the safer ways to get your thrills...there's nothing quite like free fall.
