Sport mode usage

The only way to travel....
I asked the dealer if there's any way to keep it on all the time. Their answer--no.
If anyone ever has a mod to keep it on at all times, please post!

"A Sport mode switch on the dashboard allows the driver to select from among Normal, Sport and Snow driving modes. In Sport mode, the VDIM system allows higher dynamic thresholds before intervening, alters steering assist to increase steering weight, and throttle response is sharpened. With the transmission in D mode, gears are held longer in response to throttle input."

Sport mode is AWESOME
I like how it's optional because I HATE driving sport mode 90% of the time
It's only good when you WANT it like that

All the time. Even with the traction control, VDIM etc, I've still spun the tires and have also lost the back (slightly) end a few times. The car's still new but 4th gear is very powerful. Must say the seats and interior, are a million times better then my old IS350, much more luxurios and everything is padded more, I love it.

I am trying very hard to be good and take it easy for the break in period, but it is darn hard to do. I so want to open it up in sport mode, but 681 miles is not too bad of a wait.

Sport mode most of the time (except in snow or just cruising along). It's easier to drive in normal mode in the snow and also, it's easier to maintain cruise speeds w/o using cruise control when on normal mode. However, it's on "D" most of the time so I wish I could have the quick gear change in sport mode and "D" most all the time.

All the time. Throttle response is dramatically improved - in Sport, it responds like the IS350, really gets on it quickly vs. having to mash the pedal halfway to get the car going.
I notice it every time I drive and I turn it on when I forget because I mash on the pedal, not much happens, then I realize I need Sport mode to make it work the way I like it.
Yeah, it would be ideal to be able to turn on the Sport mode throttle response on start up or make it the default.
FWIW, the mechanism in the F is completely different than the ISx50 - I had originally though Lexus had just recalibrated the assembly and I was toying with the idea of swapping the 350 unit into the F until I researched it and found out they use a completely different technology. Damn the bad luck.
