I guess it has about as much to do with anything as you threading on the ISF forum (You don't own one!).

do i need to own one to post here? for the record i decided against the is-f coz' of the rear room, which i checked out personally together with the 3 series.

and i happen to own a sc430 before too. i am sorry i am ditching your car, but like it or not most of my friends agree 2is rear room is sad for a SEDAN

Yeah you don't buy a car like an IS-F for the rear leg room. You probably wouldn't want to be driving with people in the back anyways. The ride isn't the smoothest as a passenger vehicle. I have had no problems with people in the back seats of mine. I ask them every time if they have enough room and they say they have tons of room.

I wouldn't consider it a 4 door coupe at all. I have driven real coupes with back seats (335i, S5) and there is absolutely no room. My mom drives a 328i coupe and you eat your knees during the ride. All I'm saying is that there is plenty of room for normal sized people. And compared to actual coupes it has way more room IMO. The new Merc C class has good rear space from what I have heard.

It's hard to just look at the back and tell. You really need to sit in on more of a day to day regimend.

I think that no matter who you ask, the reply will always be "Yeah, it's/i'm fine" regardless if they're is or isn't enough room. (It's called being considerate, and respectful.....Plus they are in a freaken IS F anyways, who would complain??

You can't do much besides moving the seat up a couple of inches, which then puts you in a position that isn't comfortable to you.

It's all relative. If you are coming from a Porsche 911 then the rear has a ton of room. If you are coming from an LS460 then there is hardly any room back there. Bottom line is that there is enough room for normal sized passengers for short trips. Not recommended for long road trips unless they have short legs.
