I watched one at the dealer in mine. Obviously has to be in park to watch it though.

yes, but only when the parking brake is on. if you want to watch while driving, you need override. you can email PS at chung@prestigioussociety.com for the override on nav and the dvd

Hi everyone,

I hate to bring up an old thread, but I tried to watch a DVD in my '12 isf and I only heard the sound -- no picture. Can someone help me figure out what I'm doing wrong? Yes, the car was parked. Had it on accessory.

I wasn't driving. The car was off. I put it on accessory to just use the cd/DVD player. But all I heard was the sound from the movies, no picture-- just a blue screen.

Prestigious Society or Beat Sonic's navigation override can be installed to not only watch movies while in motion but also input directions while on the go, similar to the German counterparts, for those who don't want to have to pull over just to input an address or wait for that red light to frantically press each digit to compose an address. Of course, it's not ideal to do this while in motion, but it is an added bonus. I use mine typically to entertain guests or clients.

Going back to your question- is this a burned DVD? I know that sometimes I get that blue screen when it's not an original. Also, I'd try starting the car, pressing the brake, putting it into neutral, depressing the brake, and then turning off the engine. I remember reading about this exact procedure way back when, so hopefully it'll be of use to you.

No, I didn't have the brake on. The car was just off, and parked. Maybe that's what I was missing. I'll try that!

It wasn't a burned DVD. I will try the steps you listed and see if if works.

Thanks for your help!

I've had the Prestigious Society Navigation Override System on my ML-equipped IS350 for several years now and it is worth every penny, especially if you have kids or guests that want to enjoy a movie in surround sound. It's like having your own mobile movie theatre!

I have a new prestigious society DVD / NAV override that I would sell for $150 if someone would like it. I have had these on all my Lexus cars dating back to 2004. This is one of the best mods you can buy. PM me if you want it and I will ship it out ASAP. Thanks.
