Last Friday, two IS-Fs (one blue and one red) followed by two IS-350s were on a convoy ride from 210 freeway to 57 southbound to Orange county. I was driving my Prius and passed them to get a good look. They were following me for a good 15 minutes while I admire the IS-F in my rearview mirror. I think they exited somewhere in the Brea area. Wondering if you are CL members...

Prius must have been modded...you can reprogram it to have crazy torque...but I dunno about the engine...lol Maybe a Prius Sleeper!!! WOW!

I live in OC, SoCal and have yet to see an IS-F in person on the road. Where are all the IS-F drivers?

I drive around HB (PCH, downtown) most of the time. I work at home, so I don't really put that many miles on the F. I know there are a couple of other F's in the OC (I think we have at least 3 Ultrasonics on this board from OC), but I haven't seen any others (of ANY color) besides mine either.

Nope...Prius is completely stock, and will remain stock It's my commuter car to get in the 57 freeway carpool lane . I use the SC whenever I go to work off hours when traffic is light.

It was my first time to see the Fs in person, too. And two at the same time!

The blue IS-F was leading the pack of ISs. Driver had a passenger. Following them was a red IS-F, driver with two passengers. Then, followed by two IS-350s, a white and ...oh I forgot the color of the other one. The IS-Fs have CA license plates, one starting with 6Cxxxxx, while the other one starts with 6Bxxxxx.

i saw a silver one @ old town pasadena on sunday. it was parked in a structure and i was totally checking it out by doing a full 360 around it haha. however, i did not realize that the owner and his gf were watching me from afar as they walked back to their car. ...so after i was done checking out his IS-F, as i was walking back to my car......... i pass by the love birds with smiles on their faces. i thought to myself, "boy , i hope the IS-F isnt theirs...!!" After i pass by them, i hear the infamous 'beep beep' of unlocking doors and i felt really embarassed. i got caught staring! by that time i was already pretty far so he couldnt see me give him a .

It is indeed still very rare-- even by So. Cal's standard. I drive almost everywhere - we have relatives and friends we visit often from the Valley to San Bernardino and Riverside counties, go to our second home in the south OC (San Clemente) twice a month, live near the 10/57/210 freeway junction and go to work in OC everyday. I've not seen any other IS-F aside from the recent red and blue IS-F convoy.

I get around 480 miles per tankful (about 9 gals fill) on the Prius-- but only if I drive under 70 mph. Mileage decreases substantially when I go 80-90mph. Yeah, I may be able to outdistance the IS-F but considering the brutal speed the IS-F is capable of, it will still whoop the Prius even with the IS-F doing relaxed 5-minute gas pit stops.
