Lexus IS-F vs. Nissan SKyline 370 GTS Video Link

it's easy to forget.. but you're not paying an extra $20k just for more hp and speed. but imo, i can perhaps see a justification of up to a $15k price difference between a base is350 and base is-f.

Why were the videos taken off both YouTube and Google video???? Seems strange??
@OP the figures you pointed out if true, would hurt the IS-F bandwagon when other performance vehicles might steal the spotlight , hence why I think maybe Lexus might have had the videos pulled because of bad publicity.
Just my .02

Copyright issues. This happened to many other Best Motoring vids that were uploaded to YouTube before. It even included a comparo of the GS450h vs. GS430.

108.107 VSC/TRC ONE OFF IS-F
108.494 VSC/TRC On IS-F
109.544 Nissan Skyline 370 GTS
Both cars looked great, the IS-F looks so flat in corners!! Both sound great, the IS-F V-8 has me drooling.
If you watch the video, he has no problems shifting the Skyline but he was having issues with the paddle shifters in the Lexus, at one point just not shifting as the car is stuck at the redline.
I think with practice, he would have better times in the IS-F.
Great vid, both great cars!!

VDIM Sport in the IS-F is phenomenal. I drove with it on more than 50% of the time in Monterey a few weeks back.

Pole Position
So let me throw this out there. Found an old Best Motoring video with 2 of the older M3s and others in an SMG vs. Manual shootout. Dry weather. Compare the times.

its an argument of semantics. the two are almost identical, with the real differences being legalities of lighting colors, steering position, etc.

Lexus Test Driver
Its rediculous to compare the IS-F to a G37 as there is almost a $20k difference between the two cars. A more fair comparison would be a stripped GTR at $69k vs. a loaded IS-F at $68k (per motortrend). The GTR is essentially a buffed up G37 (well, not really but lets suspend disbelief). We all know which car would win that race
