Since it's a one of a kind hand built pre-production, this particular one was built for static display only, not to be driven.

Elaborate please....
no seam welding, chassis re-enforcement? nothing?
Or are you just saying that the F cars will have their own assembly line and not be hand built?

The cars will be built in Japan like any other Lexus and Toyota, welded stamped steel. You guys are dissecting this information way too much.

wow....i had my serious doubts, but its not that crazy looking as it was in the beginning. this is a very nice car! cant wait for it to come out. havent taken my 350 out to the track yet, but it looks like this IS-F would be a lot of fun.
