Aftermarket 19" wheels with no drop
I am contemplating getting aftermarket 19" wheels (VMR 810s, gunmetal) 19 x 8.5, +35, 19x9.5 +40 for my 2011 F with the 275/245 tire combo. My preference is to keep the car at stock height as I would like to maintain the current ride quality and daily drive the car through a Canadian (Toronto) winter. As with a lot of folks, I am not a fan of the stock front wheel gap.
Would the marginally more aggressive aftermarket wheel offsets and wider tires accentuate the appearance of the front wheel gap? I could go for a slight taller 245/40 tire, however that is 2.3% taller than stock.
I understand that this is just about aesthetics (improved grip from the wider tires aside), what can I say, vanity gets the better of me sometimes.

If anything, it should minimise the appearance of the wheel gap, no? I wouldn't suggest getting a taller tire.
If you're going to be winter driving it (I do with mine), bottom line is you won't have too many options to get rid of the wheel gap - really the best thing you can do is lower it, and that doesn't really work for us haha.

This car doesn't need a drop at all. Lexus already took care of that. Btw I'm running the 255/35 and 295/30 so the overall diameter is oem. Looks stock from the side and Corvette from the back

Your setup looks really sharp. What wheel width and offsets are you running? Any fitment issues with your current setup?
