Default Tach/RPM Wire

Hey guys,

I'm trying to wire my nitrous kit right now with a wideband gauge. But for some reason the gauge is not reading RPMs correctly. It's fine up until 3k but after that it jumps around everywhere. Does anybody know the best place to tap into to get an accurate RPM? So far I have tried the green/white wire in the throttle body wiring harness. I've read a couple of threads on here but have not had anything that works. Any help would be appreciated!

I tapped the wire at the ECU. There is a specific rpm tach signal there. Just search for the pinout and you'll find it. What nitrous controller are you using? You can also tap into one of the coil packs signal wire depending on the controller.
