For some perspective, the Lexus dealership out here quoted me $2200 just to install headers a couple years ago. You can tell sometimes the shops that need work based on the prices they quote.

If I were you I wouldnt go to a shop that hasn't done even one header install on a isf. You'll be a guinea pig and the shop hrs could even add up costing you more for their inexperience. Find out from isf locals if anyone had headers done and where . I know of someone I sold a set of headers to a guy that then took it to a shop that never done this install then charged him over 12hrs of labour plus they fugged his 02 sensor as well which is common and he didn't have backups just in case. His car was then on a hoist till next day since they closed at regular time. You might as well just go to the dealer and get their quote on hourly rate for the job, it might save you some $ down the road and you can have a loaner for the day if needed.

Iim in Portland Oregon. I just moved from San Diego California. I was going to hit up a car club or something and see if I can find some local owners. Haven't seen one on the road yet. Then again this town has four seasons unlike socal. I used to see us on the I15 all the time, looks like Subaru country up here.

I'm east of Portland up towards Mt Hood. IS-F is a rare beast around here, I have only seen 1 other in the Gresham area. I believe there are a few owners up in Vancouver on the forum. Mine is stock so I don't have any shop recommendations unfortunately.

find a shop that'll quote you a flat rate vs. per hour rate. a dyno tune is usually around $300-$500 so just some Dyno pulls so be around $100 or less.

Yeah there's a few of us up in Vancouver. Nothing is cheap in the Pacific Northwest west unfortunately.. One of our local dealers actually charges competitive rates for certain jobs so that tells you how bad the private shops are.

I am Portland as well, over in Happy Valley. A couple years back, I had VIP Performance install my headers, joe-z exhaust, and weld in some high flow mufflers. They did a good job on my install. Look them up if you want another quote. They are at 8216 NE Sacramento Street.
