245/275 Tire Combo

Wow, good stuff. No rubbing on bumps? Reverse? Nor hard cornering? Do you have spacers?
I want to go with 15mm spacers without rubbing (I'm lowered front and rear with Swift springs) so I believe I'll stick with 245/35 & 275/30. Don't want to deal with rubbing of any kind on stock wheels.

245/40 fronts and 275/35 rears for me.
I have a MY10, stock rims and ride height. They tires definitely take up the wheel well space well. I got a hell of a deal on these, that I couldn't refuse. I have MINOR rubbing up fronts. I'll post up some pictures tomorrow.

Has anyone running this 245/275 combo noticed an appreciable effect on fuel economy? As much as I would enjoy the improved driving dynamics, if there is a considerate mpg penalty, I might think twice given the mileage I put on the F.
Also, does anyone know if the MP4S is similar in weight to the the PSS?

When I upsized to the 245/275 combo I didn't see any appreciable difference in fuel economy.......I also went to PSS's and I don't know if the PS4S weight has been given out yet? But I would assume that because if outperforms the PSS in all categories that they would at least have the new 4S as lightweight as the PSS was/is?

Lou - you know I completely agree with you, but I am always alarmed when I see guys going for poke and putting 255s on 10 1/2" rims. It reminds me of the time I was in the Auto Hobby Shop while in the Air Force, and there was a guy with a lowrider stretching A series tires on a 9" rim. We are old enough to know exactly what that means too...

Can confirm that 245/35/19 & 275/30/19 will not rub with swift springs on the fronts only. I've done about 50 miles on the new setup and can't believe Lexus didn't put this size tire on the 2012+ rims to begin with. Overall very happy with the upsize. Thanks for everyone's input!

I just received a response from Michelin in regards to the weight of the PS4S vs the PSS ... guess the improved tread wear and grip comes with a slight weight penalty.
"We show that the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tire design in size 245/35ZR19 weighs 24.28 LBS, compared to the Michelin Pilot Super Sport tire that weighs 23.18. Tire size 275/35ZR19 in the new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S weighs 26.90 LBS, compared to 25.82 LBS in the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S."
