Default Isf: Handles like chit

yup, I have KW's installed now and unless i'm on a completely smooth stretch of pavement, i feel every single imperfection on the road. let's not even get into how the electronic steering has a mind of it's own. I honestly believe my 91 fox body mustang handled better with the aftermarket parts i had on it.

EDIT: "HANDLE" isn't the best word, i would say the "COMFORT/RIDE" is like chit.

Hmm - that's a first. The KWs are supposed to be one of the smoothest available.

From a handling perspective - something must be wrong. Either the install, the coilovers or something else must be jacked up. Did you get an alignment after install?

How did it handle before, you could try putting the the standard shocks back in, and as for the steering it is perfect ( on my car) maybe you have a steering issue let us know what you find.

whats up man,
what tires are you running? also please make sure you have a proper alignment. post the alignment specs if you can. a slight bad alignment will make your car wander all over the place.

i just installed kw v3 a few months back, the ride quality as well as response is amazing and very comfortable. a few things could be wrong as other members have mentioned like bad alignment, installation or maybe even bad wheel bearings.

simple fact is, you can make it feel very smooth if you wanted or if that was your goal. i know for a fact my car road smooth like a non lowered GS with soft spring rates and good tires.

lets try to help he OP out.

What spring rates did you buy? Also what are your dampening settings?

Ive seen it mentioned that theres issues with our power steering feeling "notchy" that was covered under a recall or TSB. Yes you will feel every bump with this car, how long have you had it?
