Default Radiator Options

Had my car in the dealership fixing a chewed wiring harness, they found my radiator was leaking.

After researching only thing I found was a is300 that needs modifying. Is there a Koyo or Mishimoto radiator replacement for the ISF that I'm not seeing?

Also where is a good place to buy an OEM radiator without getting bent over? Found some on the web that states OEM but not too sure if it's legit OEM or OEM comparable.

^^^^^ I am wondering if there is aluminum upgrade. (SUBSCRIBED)

I remember someone on GS forum was able to send their stock radiator to Griffin radiators and they made him custom aluminum one based on stock measurements.

Koyo racing only has aluminum for IS300 . Mishimoto doesn't either . JustinD here on forums was retrofitting a Mishimoto to his F. I've helped replace 3 ISF radiators. ICODE makes a aluminum radiator for the F but it's over 1k for the part. For OEM they run 335-360. Mylparts.com vendor here has a 10 percent off CL5 code. Or I get my oem at houseoflexus.com.

Any update on if the Mishimoto radiator fits, with or without modification?

Maybe do a search and find someone who can build a custom radiator for your specific needs .

Perhaps Figs or RR Racing could step in and make one.
Improved design, made out of aluminum. It's a winner, as our cars are getting older, the demand will be there for sure.

We started down the development path and have production ready to go, we just need a gauge of interest before investing in the large run. We can add slightly more capacity and increase efficiency. Pricing would be in line with the OE, around $700. We can also modify other radiator applications in house if there is not sufficient demand. We had originally tackled this as an alternative to an oil cooler solution, but at the moment our oil cooler performed so well, even reducing coolant temps, that we shelved the project to develop other things.
Contact us for interest and we will make it happen.

When I had my leaking valley plate fixed my radiator was fine. I am currently at 104,xxx and climbing so I would say I am due for a replacement very soon. In short count me in!!

I sent a PM to the one guy who mentioned retro fitting the Mishimoto IS300 all aluminum radiator, but no response. I settled and went and ordered an OEM from Park Place Lexus in Grapevine.

From my understanding, I would basically need: 1.4" to 1.5" hoses for both the in and outlets, custom fan shroud while reusing original fans, custom top mount brackets, and a remote transmission oil cooler. The overall height and width are pretty close and the inlet/outlet are in the same general vicinity. The possibility of having an all aluminum radiator is quite tempting. Unfortunately, email replies from Mishimoto were of them telling me not to and to go forward with one that was specifically designed for an IS-F.

If this radiator craps out, then I'll probably just go with the retrofit and cut up the shroud myself.

Also I placed an order for new HPS blue radiator hoses from Figs a couple days ago and the order is still pending. :-/

OE is about $300-$370

I would be willing to shell out $700
