Default Fair price for a 2012 with 10k miles?

Looking at a car and wanted CLs opinion. Super clean car with low mileage. What do you think the car is worth private party? Also, what is the dealer trade in value you guys are seeing? Kbb and Edmonds have the car between 41-43k. I've seen low mileage 11s got for 42.9k on CarMax.

I paid $43k for my 2012 with 17k miles. I would say that $41k to $43k is a very fair price.

If they asking 45k it wouldn't be unreasonable , if you can negotiate it to 42 its a great deal anything less its excellent deal . Rare car with low miles will command a premium price

Agreed with above post. I wouldn't be surprised if it was even north of 45k. 41-43k is a great deal to me being in CA. I don't know how the prices are out east, especially during the winter.

I agree with you all. But super low mileage RCFs are going for mid 50s now. Makes for a tough choice.

My '12 ended up being close to $44k after ttt 1 year ago this month and had 22k miles on it. If you're looking to seriously buy an '11+ F, better hop on it....tons of people looking for clean examples and willing to pay top dollar to have one. Not many around the country to choose from, especially with only 10k miles on it.

If you want any type of V8 F they are only available as an IS F, RC F and GS F. Probably the one with the fewest issues is the IS F. It is also the lightest and in my opinion the best looking. Finding an IS F with that few of miles is going to become increasingly difficult.

For a hot rod, these cars are pretty hard to beat. It also has about as much power as is practical for a daily driver. Use it for its intended purpose and you'll never regret owning it. A good one with the desired colors is probably worth $44,000.

Not really... It is plenty fun though and I bought my F partially for the performance. But if I were only concerned about performance and nothing else then ALL current American sports cars in the price range will destroy any F. GT350 Mustang, ZL1 Camaro, Hellcat Challenger, etc... The first 2 are even better on a road course than an F. I've seen used ZL1 Camaros going for around $42k, and that's for 580 HP.

I bought my F for other reasons. Such as luxury, reliability and exclusivity.

Every one of the cars you mentioned has 2 doors, not 4. None of them will be an easy choice if you need a car seat for a child. There are reasons to buy the F that are not obvious, but are quite clear for many of us. The ISF is not a sports car. I have one of those, and the ISF will never supplant what can be done with a Supra.

Yeah those muscle cars are fun but extremely unsafe. I wouldn't risk my life in one of those crap boxes.

44k after TTT is a great price. I'd take that deal in a heartbeat.

Yep, especially if it's the color combo you want.

Yes but one of the main differences is that they no longer make the ISF, so in time it will start to become even more rare than it already is.

If you can get this ISF for under 43k, I think that's a pretty good deal. But if you want it, I would advise jumping on it as it won't last.

I'm going to pay up. Not many examples left with low mileage. Can't wait to join the F club.
