Yep, Greddy has been working closely with the engineers at KW to develop these KW/GReddy kits. KW is notorious for running soft springs rates. I personally believe they are a little to soft for some applications (FRS included) but the positive side is KW offers replacement springs. From my experience and with the advice of KW, you can go up 2kg on the springs without a re-valve job.

Even the the springs are soft, I have had great experience with KW quality.

Nice! Another option for coil overs for the F

I thought I was decided on which coil overs to get now these come out?

Here are the specs below, notice they are the same spring rates for IS250-IS350? Doesn't make sense, but I like the price point!

I was leaning towards the HKS Hypermax as an in-between the BC coils and the KW/Ohlins/Penske set-ups

I wonder about the quality of these? I wish someone already had these as feedback for the ISF?

Same spring rate as is250? Pretty major weight difference between the Isf and 250. I don't think they necessarily designed this product for the isf, just happens to fit so why not try and sell it.

Does KW use the same spring rates between IS models?

^^^^Yea that's what I'm confused on? Doesn't make any sense to have the same spring rate for the 250/350/ISF

The only KW's I would even consider are their high end Club Sport models. These Greddy/KW spring rates are way too soft for the IS-F which has a lot of weight up front and need to be compensated buy a higher spring rate up front...at least a 16K spring rate. I had BC coilovers with 14K/10K spring combo and even that was too soft IMHO for the IS-F. I had to increase the dampening just to prevent from bottoming out, and no, I was not lowered crazy low. I now have HKS GT4's with 16K/10K springs (stock HKS spring rate) and I couldn't be happier...no more bottoming out, great handling, and very comfortable. So in summary, make sure you don't buy a set of coilovers just because they are cheap, make sure they are properly designed solely for the IS-F.

I agree with you on the spring rates for the ISF, that's why I was curious as to why they were so low and apparently fit both the 250/350 & ISF?

Anyhow I was and am still leaning towards the HKS's they seem like a great coil over for the money!

Just by looking at the shock's body, looks like KW sub brand ST is making those coilovers. KW use full stainless steel for its suspension while ST uses steel.

Bummer about the spring rates. Maybe they will offer higher rates for the ISF. Even if they are ST bodies, that won't make much of a difference for those that don't live in the salt states

These were listed on the last vivid racing newsletter. Already for sale. Wonder if any of the vendors familiar with the F have talked to Greddy about having F specific coils with the proper rates. Maybe they just don't realize that just because they bolt on doesn't mean they are right for the car.

I can vouch for this statement. Bought coilovers that were 8k all around and were for is250/350/isf and regretted it. Switched to the HKS Hipermax and I couldn't be any happier. The ride is so much smoother now and rides exactly how a luxury sports sedan should drive. My wife sits in the back with my 14month old son and she loves the ride much better than the stock 08 isf suspension and my previous coilovers.
