Default Brake pad kit 396$?!

got quoted for rotors and pads but they wont just let me buy the pads but are making my or trying to make me buy this brake pad kit costing almost 400$

The dealer quote isn't far off for the pads. Some of us are running the Project MU NS400 which are in the same price range with much lower dust.

If you're looking to purchase pads only we have a several options available which cover the spectrum in terms of price and performance. However for the typical street use application the Project Mu NS400 are by far the most popular option if the user wants very low dust without really sacrificing on the friction levels like so many other less expensive low dust pads do.
