Did this have to be explained? lol

thats the challenge - you never know exactly what you have left to fill up.

Well, as long as you have a concentration in mind, you're fine. If you had 25% e85 mixed in previously, add 3 parts gasoline to 1 part e85, essentially increments of four. If you see your tank has 10 gallons left, add 2 e85 and 6 gasoline, or 2.5 e85 and 7.5 gas.
It doesn't matter what you throw in as long as the mixture has the same concentration. This is very basic molecular kinetics.

Here's the proof. Reduce knock, increase power. Fyi I don't know how people are getting better gas mileage, mine went down around two mpgs. Which makes sense because you usually need 30% more fuel with full e85.

Great! Can't say I'm shocked as it's inline with our results here, the stuff works and it's an excellent way to aid the tune to get the most out of it

Don't know but my mpg has been about the same as before with straight 91 and more occasions than not it's been about 1-2 mpg higher??? Maybe again altitude has something to do with it but I definitely haven't suffered like I thought I would mpg wise?

Just updated the attachment and made it an overlay between 93 and 93 mix with E85. I'm impressed!

Thanks for the graph overlay cayman! And that is with 93 octane base! I'm sure it is even more significant for those of us that only have access to 91 premium. Great work guys

I can say that I just did a blend of E85 and 93 , about a E25 and with the RR tune and it seems to really like it.

Not a problem^^^^I should've made a post about this about a month or two ago but I wanted to have 3-4 months of blending done before I started a thread, so when Idoke started this thread I thought this would be the right time to add my experience!

I'm glad everything seems to be pointing the right direction as far as results go with documentation/data logging to back up claims!

Like I said before I'll be an E85er for life especially @ $1.69 gal, and as long as gas stations carry it I'll never go back to straight 91 octane!

Thanks. I totally understand the logic - the part I don't get is how do you know what you have left in the tank?

When the miles to go hit 0, there is about 2 gallons in the reserve.

I found an app called E85 Calculator on IOS. Just hit the defaults at the bottom, adjust the Gas Octane Rating in my case to 93, select either desired octane or ethanol % and then type in the % filled field. I have it set to 15 gallon tank capacity to account for the 2 gallon reserves. The result at the top shows you how much fuel to ethanol to add for a full tank.
