Default Fortune Auto Coilovers?

Anyone here running Fortune Auto 500 coilovers on their ISF? Tried searching, but I only see the ISF guys run BC Racing, HKS, KW, or Penske coilovers. However I've heard good things about Fortune Auto from other car enthusiast, which makes me want to give them a try. Fortune Auto is based out of Richmond, Virginia and builds all their coilovers in house. The 500 series coilover looks like its their entry level coilover and they are hand built to order. They don't have a ISF application, but they do have a IS250/350 application which fits. Upon checkout, you are allowed to pick your own spring rates as well as upgrade to swift or hyperco springs!

Just trying to see if anyone has had experiences with Fortune Auto on their ISF before I order a set!

Here is some info they have on their website:
  • FA Synthetic Shock Oil
  • Digressive Piston Technology
  • Custom Built and Dyno Tested
  • 5 Year Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty
  • 24-Step Adjustable Dampers
  • Monotube Damper with High Pressure Nitrogen
  • T6 6061 Aluminum Mounts and Camber Plates
  • Rebuildable and Revalveable at our Facility in Richmond, VA
  • Modularity – Upgradeable to 2-Way or 3-Way Canister

The Fortunes have a great rep in the Mr2 world where I used to spend more time.

Spring rate wise, the f's a completely different animal from the 250/350. Though if they offered a setup designed specifically for our platform, I'd likely consider 'em.

I would not recommend esp since we have such better options (kw v3, penske, ohlins)

A close friend of mine ran their "500 series" with "swift upgrade" run at a reasonable height and dampening level on his FR-S . 3 of the 4 dampers leaked after 1 track day.

If you are looking at the lower end you would probably see similar performance from BC coils .

As the posts above have stated... they are good on select platforms but they do not handle very well on this platform.
The BC Racing would be a comparable choice of coilovers that are proven worthy on this platform. Plus we can custom build them to your specs.

I had them on my STI with the swift spring and bearing upgrade. While they rode well and the custom spring rates are nice, BC offers the same thing at a few hundred less and they ride just as good imo.
