Ive owned my daily 08 isf for 6 months now. Bought it at 72k and now has 85k miles. Water pump doesnt leak nor has never been replaced. Most of my miles are from racing/spirit driving and thats with a 125 shot of nitrous as well. So far no problems what so ever!

This guy I know is not getting a good dig but is tracking them down in later gears (gotta love the F!), is it safe to get the rims up higher to 5k or more at launch then shift in 2 seconds or so or do you just jump the third honk in auto wot? Thanks all veteran isf'ers with any help
at 60mph you can be in 2nd but youll be right at the end of your rpms. 50 rolls are our kill zone

I think a lot of us are of the "drive it as it's built to be driven" mindset. It's the babied performance cars that end up in the shop more. =)

I push mine every time I drive it once I'm at operating temp. My favorite is getting a good rev match pre-turns or just for the hell of it. This S5 has be stalking me lately leaving out of the garage I park in for work, I can just tell he's infatuated with the F. The other day I blew by him on a left turn light (he was going straight & stopped at the light) and pulled a perfect rev match just as I was passing him. I saw him !JUMP! & practically hit his ceiling in my mirror. Now he's infatuated even more.

Had mine for a little over a month and have logged over 2000 miles, I drive a lot for work and live a good 50 mins from Atlanta which I visit often. I cruise most of the time just listening to the gentle hum of the v8 and every once in a while give it the beans, still surprises me with the power! I average about 22 mpg with the driving I do normally.

I find it virtually impossible not to put my foot into it. In the near future, the addition of the Bazooka exhaust may calm things down a bit.........NOT!!!!!

In my opinion, the IS-F is one of the only cars you can BOD, regularly track and take to the strip for 100k+ and have little to no issues.
