Someone needs to work on their reaction time.
I like Mustangs, my first memory of this car was in 1994 when the CHP had those SSP units rolling around.
They are usually geared at 3.55, 3.73 sometimes 4.10's...........doesn't help a whole lot on the highway.

Agreed^^^without those slicks I bet the F would've taken him
You show how much of a difference the Hoosiers make look at this same mustang against a bolt on Hellcat below:

Agreed! I recently had a little run in with a new 4 door charger hellcat. We took off from a stop light and all I'll say is, he completly DESTROYED me. I have FBO with the exception of a tune, but based on the outcome, a tune wluld not have helped in the least bit.

^^^Sad part is that probably made his day. Hellcat is a one trick pony. Still a grabage can with a lot of power.
Side note: seriously, street racing? Go to the freakin track and get real numbers.

Side note: Im not big into street racing and being that the "race" was over before we even hit the posted speed limit, I don't really cosider it a real street race. However, thank you for reminding everyone to stay safe and only get on the gas when you are at the track.

Let people do what they want. If they want to race on the street, let them be. No need to comment and act like you're better than someone just because they race on the street. They aren't harming anybody, just cause you race on a track doesn't make you superior.

This must be sarcasm, nobody can be this ignorant.

Well that's funny considering you can't even leave a cars and coffee event without a mustang attempting vehicular manslaughter. But my main point was the data is irrelevant. When dealing with tenths of a second a street race doesn't really prove much at all.
Get real numbers at the track for true comparisons. Not a superiority thing, it's just real useable data.
