Default Lease term almost ended, decided to keep the F!

So my lease is up this December 25, 2016 and have decided to keep it for sure, i love it too much to give up for anything else! Question is, am i able to terminate it a month or two before? My buy out is just over $13gs, and have been paying $699 a month, so wondering if i can end it say 2 months earlier and to just add $699x2 on top of the buy out price. Hope someone on here has some experience with this, and another thing, is the buy out price negotiable?
I want to do my homework before i go in there.

Thanks!

You can buy out anytime. Add the current buyout with the (2) remaining payments, less interest. How is your buyout so low? Sounds like a really bad lease.

Keep in mind these prices listed are in CDN $, so divide it by like 1.35 to get USD.

That doesn't help my understanding.. If you leased this new at $700/month for a 70K car + whatever taxes and interest... minus $13k that's like over 85 months of payments which is much longer than the leases here in the US.

I took over the lease, and contract was for 29months. I had to put down $10gs, and take over with $699 a month until lease is up, and then have a $13gs buy out at the end. Hope this clears things up a bit and makes more sense...

Odd, people usually pay the person taking over the lease here. You have no choice but to buy the car outright now.. you're heavily into it.

Yea i thought it was pretty good too, its 2010, got it with 69kms (43k miles) and its now sitting at 83kms (52k miles). Never seen winter either, so mint condition in/out.

I take it back...2010? I didnt know they lease used car. Nonetheless, if you like it, keep it. 😅

Great deal and glad you stuck with it. It's a fine car that is still in pretty good condition. Enjoy it even more that you own it now!
