Default Test fitted JDM RCF wheel flares on an ISF tonight

I personally own a 3IS and wanting to fix a fender bump after having my rear fender pulled, so I have come up an idea to purchase the JDM RCF fender flares to "hide" the fender bump. Surprisingly they fit pretty well on the car.

The gap is not perfectly aligned, but it's 95% aligned which I can live with it.

However, you do need to trim the small pieces a bit in order to fit on the rear bumper as it has this big clips that are designed to be "clipped on" to the RCF rear bumper.

Some more decent pics to show overall how it looks on the car.

OK, now back to the main point of this thread. A buddy of mine got an ISF, I thought may we can test fit those on his car to find out whether they fit as well. He got another set from Japan for his wife's RCF but never had a chance to install them so I just align them with the fender well and the rear bumper. GUESS WHAT, THEY FIT PERFECTLY, WELL MAYBE NOT 100% BUT AT LEAST I THINK IT FITS BETTER THAN MY CAR.

However, one thing that bothers me is these parts come painted but only with the RCF color which do not match with the ISF color at all.

Anyways, just thought it's something I wanna share with you ISF owners.

What is this thing? A spoiler for your quarter panel? Seems very out of place to me... but I guess everybody has their own opinions. (that 3IS is gorgeous btw)

Sent the deposit for the group buy

Nice choice of wheels on your 3IS, by the way.

The piece on the fender well fits perfectly, the rear bumper piece fits about 98% i would say as it does fit better than my IS.

Yes. The JDM RCF comes with that molding while the USDM RCF comes with only a little piece on the rear bumper.

one of the ISF owner did put the USDM molding on his car.

Here is how it looks on a JDM RCF

Those pieces were to meet regulation for snow chains...... ( the small RCF ones ) To each his own but if I had an RCF in AZ id take those off. I forget what state or states it was but I was told this by someone who worked at a dealership.

I think it looks kind of tacky in my humble opinion . That's not flaring anything . This is
