Default Need input on buying an ISF? Thoughts?

I was looking at a 2011+ ISF, they are all around 10k more. But then I found this 2008. Thinking about purchasing this 2008 ISF for $28,500. It's been cared for by an enthusiast. What do you guys think for the price? Is saving 10k worth buying a 2011+?

67k miles
Full Tom's Kit
2011+ OEM headlights
Custom midpipe
Custom intake

Appreciate all the input!

Looks clean. Get a PPI done by a certified ASE Certified master mechanic. I would say that is a fair deal.

I would buy that in a heart beat if I already had my funds for my ISF ready. Like everyone said, if the maintenance records are good and everything checks out then it's a great deal. The real question is if the 2011+ has anything you really care about to warrant holding off on this 08.

yeah but doubt anything worth 10k+ only thing I'm concerned about is the " high mileage"

I think its a good deal...I think you can find a 2011+ for under 40k all day long...I think tbh though...theres a lot of differences between an 08 and a 2011. I think a big difference aside from just the major suspension changes are also the interior changes....the 2011+ comes with the alcantara interior which I think looks really damn nice. But also there's no Bluetooth for music which would be a huge issue for me....I believe that changed in 2010.

you can easily find a 2010/2011+ with around those miles for 35k or so....me personally...I'd wait...the mods you can find for a good price....I think if you could get that guy down to 25k it'd be a SOLID deal.

just my 2c

I see where you are coming from. To me the suspension would probably be the biggest thing.

*Updated suspension
*Updated interior
*Updated gauge cluster
*Updated Bluetooth streaming
*Updated wheel styles
*Wider wheels and tires
*Sport mode on steering wheel
*Thicker, more comfortable steering wheel
*Updated waterline/no water pump issues
*Headlights (led) came factory, so no chance of them being wired incorrectly/etc
*Updated Nav unit
*2011-2014's are much rarer birds which will hold higher resale value

I believe I got them all, but if those aren't enough reasons to find an '11+ F, then 'settle' for this one. But I'll say this...if I had to 'settle' on an 08, this would be the one, lol. Looks VERY CLEAN and very well maintained. And 67,000 miles is NOTHING for an ISF, lol. Engine is just breaking in good, lol. I think it's underpriced also...plus there are mods he's basically giving away for free... tasteful mods at that. Decisions decisions!!!
You'll be happy with whatever choice you make though, they are all rare, sexy, and we'll performing machines!

If your going to drive the car a lot like I do mine at 150-170,000 miles the year and changes won't mean much for resale keep the extra 10k for maintenance. For that matter buy this 1 and get the RR racing package and it will be a beast. I was in the same boat as you 8 months ago I could afford a 40k F, but I found a member on this forum that took great care of his 08 with 64k miles and picked it up for 26,000$.
