The skipping sound is from the rear LCA bushing. Replace it with a polyurethane bushing or a solid bushing and all this will end. AMHIK.

I had all kinds of pops from the front end with the OEM bushings. Especially backing up at low speeds in parking lots with a high steering angle. It stopped when I put FIGS polyurethane bushings on the front LCAs.

I installed the FIGS LCAs last year and the weird wheel popping at full lock just started a couple weeks ago. WTF?
On a side note, my JoeZ exhaust just got really loud all of the sudden and it has been on for a year now as well. I gotta get under it and see if a gasket let go.

So no one has experienced my wheel of fortune noise coming from the front?

Thanks! I'll go with 51 ft/lbs.

Ya know, you're exactly right. I never gave this any thought, but since I've installed my RRRacing USRS bushings, no more pops with steep steering angles. Thanks for the kick in the butt

Anyone else using the Duralast hub? Or have experience with them in general? Wondering if the Timken's are worth the price premium over the Duralast hubs.

I've been running them since September. No issues so far.

Yeah, the dealer told me this feeling was normal when backing up at full lock. I also assumed it was the LCA bushings. Will be replacing mine very soon with USRS as well.

Hey guys... I've been putting off a plethora of front end work (swap in new rings on 2-piece rotors, new adjustable UCA's, missing hub spacers, install re-built Penskes, replace a bent tie rod, etc), and now there's a squeaking noise coming from the front-left wheel. It sounds just like a hamster wheel up until ~10mph, where it goes away. I haven't read anywhere that squeaking is a symptom of a bad hub. The brake pads are fairly new.

I'm not sure what else it could be and wanted to check in before I get the front end apart and realize I need different parts.

Also, anyone care to update their experiences with the Autozone hubs? They're running another 20% off sale, so I'm tempted to just buy them, and if the noise is something else, they'd be easy to return...

Thanks!

What hub spacers are you referring to? Between the hub and wheel or between the hub and the upright (knuckle)? I have wondered about putting a spacer behind the hub (10mm or less) to allow for a wider rim/tire in front but would not want to try this without knowing what it will do to the geometry. Inexpensive suspension geometry analysis software died. Literally. So, it wouldn't be inexpensive to figure this out.

Oops... I meant the concentric hub rings it appears Discount Tire lost the last time the wheels came off. Spacers of sorts I suppose.
