I'm not a fan of the silver cf trim, especially after sitting in an E90 M3 with the the extended cf trim package. Also wish the trunk had an auto pop-up function.

Other than those things I have loved the car and I honestly feel like the ML stereo does not disappoint.
I concur with the skinny steering wheel. Lots of carbon upgrades available on ebay though

Since mine's a 2008 model:

-No USB media playback
-No front cooling seats
-Cannot edit navigation once car is in motion
-Useless rear seat middle tray should've been a car seat
-Rubber buttons under rear-view mirror for garage door opener feels tacky
-No felt cloth inside coin holder, which is VERY annoying when coins keep moving around!
-Manual shifting should be opposite direction - forward for downshift and backward for up-shift. Need those Initial D arcade instincts in hand, lol.

2013 ISF:

1. The ML stereo is weak. The system needs a big kick in the pants, maybe 1000 Watts and an amplified subwoofer.

2. The inside/outside ventilation function keeps switching on its own.

3. An oil pressure gauge would be helpful.

4. Useless cup holders.

Your #2 - must be in auto mode so it switched between the 2 when necessary

1. I would say my biggest annoyance is having to hit "sport" everytime I get in the car vs like my old E92 M3 you could leave the car in sport permanently via the settings in the nav. I hate driving the car in "normal" cause it takes so much throttle to get the car moving.

2. That and the brake squeal of the oem pads

3. The shifting is backwards on the Lexus, the up shift should be down not up. So I use the paddles more than anything(which isn't really a gripe, but still)

I noticed a lot mentioning the backwards shift pattern for manual mode. In my experience, it seems like a ton of cars have this same pattern, more often than not. Not saying that it is right, but it seems to be the more common pattern in most manufacturers.

Can be programmed with Techstream. Was annoying me also and now it's fine. Always in outdoor mode.

Annoying thing also is the radio won't keep playing if you shut the car, same for a phone call. I won't let my car run in the driveway just to maintain a call....

Common because "not racecars"
Sequential transmissions are ALWAYS shifting ''back for upshift'' "front to downshift"
As "common sense" for "regular" people, the + is always on top of -

Correct, I was referring to mass production cars as opposed to race cars (although the ISF is hardly "mass" production). Either way the paddle shifters work just fine

All the dash lights. IE: The bright green fog light ON indicator, Sonar ON indicator, etc. IMO it can make the dash seem too busy and it kinda bothers me in my peripherals while driving. I actually drive with the fog lights off and do not like turning them on for any reason whatsoever.

I hate that a finger nail can leave a permanent mark on the interior just by accidentally dragging or rubbing it against something
