No test drives or rides unless you're buying lol... that doesn't say good things about how it drives. Thank you for running down there to look at it, bummer they wouldn't let you drive it but I suspect its not in as good of running condition as we had hoped.

But thanks for reviewing it fir the forum. Sucks you couldn't drive it but I have faith for this car at 250,000+ miles! Just broke 200,000 in my 02 IS300 and there have been very few, minor issues. Toyota/Lexus make rock solid vehicles.

I stopped at the dealer where this car is at and took a look at the car, The exterior doesn't look terrible for that many miles but it needs a new front bumper because it is all cracked up as well as the black plastic mesh, the hood has tons of rock chips of large sizes so it definitely needs a respray, one of the roof trim pieces are missing and the interior has a lot of wear all over, it looks to me the previous owner hauled around a lot of stuff in the back seat. The dealer said they do not offer test drives or rides until they are certain that you will be buying the vehicle but they did let me start it. It definitely has the cracked header issue, on start up it had a very audible exhaust leak that went away after about a minute, the engine still sounds great and the engine bay looks to be in amazing condition. Overall I would say it held up alright for the miles but they are asking too much in my eyes.

Here's a few interior shots I took, the center and window switch carbon are all very yellowed but it doesn't show it in pictures well, I would assume its because this car had no tint at all. On a good not the dash wasnt all sticky and cracked up like some of the other Toyota's are doing.

I wouldn't make that assumption...many used car lots don't let you drive a car unless you are serious about buying it. It's a waste of their time and money, I don't blame them. But, in this situation I wish they would have let him drive it for sure. lol
